Understanding Your Analysis Page

Last updated: 2026-03-05

The Analysis page breaks down your portfolio beyond just returns. It helps you understand what you actually own, not just what you bought.

Here’s what each section shows.

Fees

An estimate of what you’re paying in management expense ratios (MERs) across your portfolio. Greenline calculates this based on the funds you hold. This gives you a clearer picture of the cost of your investments each year.

Geographic exposure

Where your money is invested around the world. This includes Canada, the US, international markets, and emerging markets. Even if you only buy Canadian-listed ETFs, many of them hold stocks globally. This section shows you the real breakdown.

Sector breakdown

How your portfolio splits across sectors like technology, financials, energy, healthcare, and others. This helps you see if you’re heavily concentrated in one area or spread across many.

Asset class

The mix of stocks, bonds, cash, and other asset types in your portfolio. This is useful for checking whether your overall balance matches your goals.
